Oh Vamp, Vamp, Vamp...
You may understand what it's like to be a teenager, but you still have no idea what it's like to be the parent of a teenager, wanting to love this joy of your life that suddenly wants nothing to do with you. But you'll know someday, oh yes, you will know

...And I'm sure you'll do just as great at that time as you are doing right now with her.

what do you mean ALMOST? I'm sure he's offended by your claim. Like watch this Erpy what is the meaning of life?
He'll get around to it just you wait!
anyways the only thing I have to add here is that some teenagers do consider what it's like to be a parent like when I feel like I've been a rotten kid (Like when I was suspended on and off for 2 months WHICH HORRAY DID NOT TURN OUT TO BE MY FAULT!) I was more eager to get back in the good loop of school because I was always thinking man this sucks enough being almost gauranteed a couple of failed courses now but my parents must think im the worst thing that ever happened to them beside my brother who got to the top of the honoroll with 50% attendance and my other brother who is so hands on that he was always so do the work and if im not doing it why? that he always did good because of his attidtude even though he was no genius that didn't have to go to school. Then we got me whose in more trouble than a politician in a World War all the time. not to mention being hated by almost if not all my teachers for being who I am. I found this more contradictory than the bible because for the first 10 years of your life in school they tell you be yourself and then in the last 8 years they tell you to change yourself to suit your teachers? This is pure BS to me and I refuse to change any aspect of myself cause a few teachers don't like me they can go get hit by a bus for the way they treated me. well now I've gone and angered myself but everyone says grade 9 sucks and I agree. I was hoping this year would be different but it;s only a little better. Oh ya my topic
! well feeling as down as I was what got me to stand up was the fact that if I want to have the will to go on I've got to want it real bad and not just for me but so I could not be the screwup of the family as we have plenty of those in my line.

I think the worst phase comes a full decade after. It's the "I don't wanna go to school today" phase. 5 years prior you may experiance the "are we there yet" phase
Pidgeot way to steal Erpy's time to shine lol everyone on this forum coulda said that ... unless What was the meaning of life according to Monty Python? Same thing eh? You don't say.

Katherines just had her first set of injections (immunisations) today.
She was so brave but cried a bit and wriggled so it hurt her more :\ I kept trying to calm her down by talking to her but I had a lump in my throat and was nearly crying myself lol
Poor thing. Gotta keep our eyes on her now for the next 48 hours.

Awww, that's so cute. What a typical mother you are becoming Vamp. I promise you that won't be the last time you'll feel that conflict between the part of you that wants to just hold her and make the pain go away, and the part that knows that you have to suffer through her suffering in order for her to grow and learn.

Immuno...
I know it's often hard on kids, Vamp, but as someone who works at a Children's Hospital, I know how important those things are.VampD3 wrote:Katherines just had her first set of injections (immunisations) today.

Besides, it gives you a reason to stay with her and fuss over her more!

Wanna know what happens to babies when they get their hands on Chocolate Biscuits? they go on an Evil sugar rush!!
Lol that photo was actually taken just as she burst into excitement and was about to smile. She's had so many photo's taken of her she always smiles at the camera whenever we hold it up to her! Useful to keep her distracted when changing her dirty nappy! :p
Note: We didnt actually give her a chocolate biscuit, we just let her hold it :)
