Hi,

I'm not quite sure you mean but the sand I think you're looking for should be in the bottom right corner of the island, it should be quite easy to spot but it looks like a darkish circle of sand. Just use the hand icon on it.

And as Navynuke said, please keep your threads into one thread. It clutters up the forums otherwise.

Good luck. :)

Congratulations, you know I've completed the game several times, yet I've never bothered to get a full score. Odd. Might fire it up and try.

Good luck! I've played the originals(1,2,4,5 and 6 -- didn't care much for 3 so didn't try to finish it) and got through them and got through the remakes (1 and 2).I've really enjoyed playing. My 83 year old Aunt played part of my cousin's KQ 4: Perils Of Rosella but the discs were loaned out and got misplaced and now she wants to try it again and we can't seem to locate it at the stores around here.Any ideas on where we might find it?

Four things to keep in mind.

1) The first S signifies going south in the screen east of the swamp entrance with the flies.

2) An east after a west or a north directly after a south doesn't cancel the previous direction out. Ignore logical sense for now.

3) After following the directions, you'll be in a swamp screen with a castle vaguely visible to the north. It can be hard to see, but after following the directions, you should go north.

4) East is to the right, west is to the left. Some people switch these around sometimes. :p

Swamp Poem

#10 Post by Cats Eye » Mon May 30, 2005 8:14 pm

I don't remember exactly what my poem said but, the directions I got from mine work everytime. Does the game give different poems each time you play? Good question to ask I think but, I am knew at this forum thing. I hope it is okay to do this and that it works, my directions were -
SESESWNWS
;)

The game randomly chooses a poem at the beginning of each game. I can't remember off the top of my head how many different poems there were though.

That would explain why I got different directions than Lis did. Thanks for the tip.
