I'm having diffculty running my Kings Quest 5 CD version on both DOSBox and WinXP. The dos verson runs without any speech in DOSBox and the Win32 version wont run at all.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I can't play that game any longer since my graphics card can not support it.

Right-click on your desktop and select "Properties." Click on the "Settings" tab. Click on the "Advanced" button. Click on the "Adapter" tab. Click on the "List All Modes" button. Click on the lowest resolution available with 256 colors. Click "OK." Click "OK." Click "OK." Then it will work.

If supported by your version of Windows, compatability mode should work as well. Simply right-click the shortcut, choose Properties and enable 256 colors and 640x480. Windows will take care of the rest when playing the game.

I got my KQ5 CD version working in DosBox with speech, I'll take a look at what I did to get it running.
