QFG Anthology CD setup

#1 Post by Kuroikaze » Fri Oct 07, 2005 8:39 am

I'm trying to re-install QFG Anthology on my Windows XP machine, and when I open setup, it opens far offscreen. If I up the resolution, I can catch it, and it's long and thin.

Is there a way i can fix this? I tried compatability mode, but that doesn't do shit.

Did you try using the key combination "alt-spacebar" (to open the system menu), followed by "X", to maximize?

both maximize and minimize are greyed out, one of the first things I tried.

It's not incredibly vital to fix it, I can just change the resolution and move the window myself, it's annoying as hell though.

Also, while I've got you, where can I find the updated drivers for the QFG games? the ones that get rid of the "cannot detect audio hardware" error and fix the sounds

Or Dosbox to help? I really haven't seen anything like that with my copy of the game but it could probably be solved through emulation programs.

I AM using VDMsound.

And I dont use dosbox when windows DOS emulation works fine by itself.

I'm talking about the updated AUDBLAST.DRV file that one can use in games like QFG3 to improve sound quality and lose the "Cannot detect audio hardware" thing at launch.
