I hope this is okay...

I know there has been a lot of people asking where they can find Sierra games, and we all know the reply. "Go look on eBay. Well I figure we can help each other a little. I just put my copies of The Roberta Williams and Quest for Glory Anthologies on eBay to help pay for the engagment ring I'm getting my girlfriend.

I must confess a sin I gave into so long ago. There was a local bookshop, which actually had the Roberta Williams Anthology for sale long ago. Even before the euro. But it was very expensive, so I left it on the shelf. Sometimes I would go check if it was still there, and it was there for a year or two. I didn't buy it.

Then, one day, I decided to go satisfy my yearning. And it was gone. Of course.

How glad I am that I chanced upon it when in Guernsey in about '96, and pickjed it up for around Â£15. What a bargaintastic bargain that was!

OH man! DARNIT!!!!!!!!! I have already spent all the available funds I had for self-purchases on used games at the local EB. Oh well I guess I'll have to wait untill I see it come up again.

This is the last night of the auction. As it stands right now, Roberta Williams stands at $42.00 and quest for glory stands at a whopping $102.50 which shocked me. I figured the other anthology would bring more. I quess AGD chose the right game to remake!

What has it ended already? *swears* I would have given at least 60 dollars for the RWA. I was willing to pay a whole lot more for it. But now I logged in and saw that it ended. Too bad.
