#1 Post by zackmoris99 » Mon Nov 27, 2006 7:13 pm

I wanted to play some of the old computer games. I found them online at www.virtualapple.org  Does anyone know anything about this website? Is it safe to use?

Yeah, I tried it. No problems. It works fine. Doesn't work in Firefox yet, though.

I just want to play Gnarly Golf, but I can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong?

Well, why don't you start by telling us what you did?

I went to the Gnarly Golf page, installed the ActiveX control, then clicked on Download Disk Images. I chose Open, a new window popped up with an IE logo and the words Gnarly Golf underneath it. I clicked that, chose Open again and nothing happens.

I do not have IE7. Have you actually played any of the games from this site? Can it be done?

Yes, like I said before. It works. You need the ActiveX plugin but it works. I couldn't get it working with IE7, though, because it handles ActiveX differently or something. It doesn't work in Firefox yet, either.
