I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask, but it's the only place I know of where QFG is still being discussed :-)
I'm trying to find info on the file formats of the character exports for the QFG series. I'm most interested in QFG IV, but any resource would be helpful. I know the QFG II remake will be able to import QFG I characters; where did you guys find the file format of the saved character?
Really looking forward to QFG II, by the way. You guys are awesome.

The import/export info was first given to us anonymously from someone who didn't wish to be named.
Later, when we got licensed by Vivendi, we had the legal right to use the import/export code in the game, but unfortunately we're not permitted to make the details public.
However, I believe there are several import generators available on the Internet. If you can get a hold of one of their authors, perhaps they can help you out.
