if you read some of my early posts here you'd be surprised to find English is my first language (I learned it with French at the same time) I used to have by far the worst grammar on the forum.

Haha. Don't worry AMG. Half the people here have a mother tongue other than English.
I myself can barely speak it... and the Afrikaans accent will be strange even to you.

You affect an accent from a region where you're not from?  That's just offensive.  And stupid.  I mean, Guv'nor, I love Monty Python but I don't walk around my house screaming insults in a British accent.

OR DO I?

Heh.

Hmmm... please record yourself and we will judge you!

A few team members called me a year ago, but it seems none of them understood a word I said! Hehe. That doesn't help much in team work.

Actually, I do believe there's a clip of me going on in a Scottish Brogue.

Times like these make me wish we had an off-topic forum.

Heheheh! Now that's a classic piece. :)
Sounds like an Englishman trying to imitate a Scot.  :p

Thanks Broomie. It was about time Bt came out of the closet.  :lol

Hehehe. If I understood a word Dutch, I would record it for you.  :p

Afrikaans and Dutch are just too different. :)  Since they stopped teachning Dutch in schools, I think most of the Afrikaans people under 40 would have a tough time with it. (Funny thing is... I find German easier to understand.)

I met some South-African guys, and some of them spoke Dutch. I can understand it, but the languages have developped quite different. In the 17th century both countries spoke Dutch, but later both languages changed.  I think South-African sounds funny :)

Erpy/AGDs, If there was something like a prize for the best Beta-tester, who would be ahead with the number of bugs/entries? :)

Actually, there kind of IS a reward, well, depending on your perspective... but I guess it would be considered a good thing (and is certainly fitting) for those beta testers who put in the extra effort. The ones who didn't probably wouldn't enjoy this kind of reward anyway. But I'll leave it at that for now.

So, what is the progress of Quest for Glory II VGA? I mean how much longer until the beta testers receive light from the end of the tunnel?

Till next time folks stay cool  :hat

I don't know. Until further playthroughs reveal no more issues?
