Most Evil Final Fantasy Villain
Whether they really made you mad or were just lovably evil (Kefka?) Which one was your favorite in terms of evilness, quirkiness or just bad ass-ness(SP?)

Yeesh. What a mess.
Firstly, spell them corretly. Golbez, Exdeath or X-Death (not ExDeath), and Sephiroth.
Secondly, why have you neglected major villains from FF11 and FF12?
Thirdly, though I understand why you included him, Xande's not the final boss of FF3, so why isn't the Cloud of Darkness an option?
Fourthly, how come no sidekick/recurrent villains are listed? Granted, most of them are comic relief, but at least one should be considered.
Fifthly, what if one considers Sin to not really be villainous in FF10? After all, it's really just a mindless summon creature - shoudn't the summoner be blamed?
Finally, you really should specify what kind of evilness you want as focus (a character's nature or the difficulty level of the eventual combat).

Sephiroth does not deserve to have his pathetic little name spelled correctly anyway. Kefka would stuff Seff-urr-off full of jack-in-the-boxes or something and explode that sad poser from the inside out.
This is totally a proven fact.
SHODAN would turn them both into cyborgs and make them fight each other for her amusement though.

AI fight!
Personally, I prefer that kind of match-up. SHODAN vs Durandal vs GLaDOS?Prio wrote:SHODAN would turn them both into cyborgs and make them fight each other for her amusement though.

I noticed this but figured no one would care much, I did my best.
Secondly, why have you neglected major villains from FF11 and FF12?
I had run out of room, you can only put 10 options Plus I don't consider 11 a true FF

Name constraints

Again can only put up so many names

I didn't really want to spoil the ending as so much happens right there.
Finally, you really should specify what kind of evilness you want as focus (a character's nature or the difficulty level of the eventual combat).
Sorry about this one I thought it was clear I meant Story line wise.
Re: Most Evil Final Fantasy Villain
I will choose Zeromus, the embodyment of Hatred.
Wait a moment! WHERE IS HE!
He was replaced by Golbez? OBJECTION!
Have you ever played FFIV?

Re: Most Evil Final Fantasy Villain
Yes, I was wondering, too, why Golbeza [1], who in the end turned good, and not the real villain of the game (whose name escaped me and I was too lazy to look it up)
[1] with an a at the end - that's how the translation I had spelled him.

Re: Most Evil Final Fantasy Villain
I figured that not everyone looking had beaten each and every one of them (I haven't) So I put the characters that seemed to be the final villains and have a lot more character development so that it wouldn't spoil the experience, Yes I know Sin isn't the final boss of X but really the true "Villain" of the story isn't even revealed until about 2 hours to the end credits.

Kefka. He's the only one who has ever actually conquered the world and become a God. Besides, Sephiroth was little more than Jenova's puppet.

I thought that for a long time too. The background information released in anticipation of Advent Children disproved that. Sephiroth's mind became the dominant force influencing all things Jenova after the events in Nibelheim.Corsair wrote:Besides, Sephiroth was little more than Jenova's puppet.

WTH happened to Zeromus, he would have been my pick, though Cloud of Darkness had the best battle music.
