When I play FF VII I can't help but cry when I get to the part of the game where Aerith dies. And I take great pleasure in killing Sephiroth at the end.
But as far as Shadow goes he sadly dies no matter what whether you leave him at the floating continent or at the end if you didn't leave him behind he stay behind in Kefka's tower and is not seen on the airship at the end if you look closely which is sad but I have heard rumors of an alternate ending if you see all seven of his dreams but I've never seen all the dreams and also a website I look at all the time called Caves of Narshe I believe said there are only five dreams that shadow has and that either way he dies so unfortunately I'll never see shadow live at the end and have a happy ending.   :cry

Well aside from my computer problems and the fact that I don't have Internet on my computer I managed to get some news on Dissidia the character line up

Final Fantasy-Light Warior and Garland
Final Fantasy 2-Firion and the Emperor
Final Fantasy 3-Onion knight and Cloud of Darkness
Final Fantasy 4-Cecil and Golbez
Final Fantasy 5-Bartz and Ex Death
Final fantasy 6-Terra most likely maybe Celes my source was not real clear it said a female character and Kefka but I'd say Terra most likely even though the second half of the game revolved arount celes
Final Fantasy 7-Cloud and Sephiroth
Final fantasy 8-Squall and ultimecea
Final fantasy 9-Zidane and Kuja
Final Fantasy 10-Tidus and Ject

and thats it as far as I know

Where'd you get your info? My understanding from Square's recent invitation-only event is the the protagonists representing FF4 through FF7 remain unconfirmed (though Cecil and Cloud are pretty much a certainty).

The front page at Caves of Narshe says the same thing I did. The antagonists are confirmed from FF1 through FF10, but not protagonists from FF4 through FF7 yet.

either way I think your guess is bang on. Really looking at who they're choosing it's pretty much guaranteed to look that way.

KEFKA is in Dissidia!!!!! HOORAY!!!! Kefka OWNS ALL! Can't wait....

FF6 was truly the best and probably the most under-rated of FF games. That game was incredible! Kefka was an incredible villain! And I will never forget the beautiful opera scene, I actually have that song stuck in my head lol. :D

BTW, SeraphimDreamer, I love your avatar, I'm NOT ashamed to say that I too am a fan of Digimon. Patamon and all his evolutions (except Shakuomon *shudders*) are all my favorites! ;)

Thank you for the compliment for the longest I was obsessed with Digimon and searched for any existence of a real Digimon world but eventually after many visits to the psychiatrist and my newfound faith in God I finally gained my sanity back till I figured out I missed the release of the Digimon 1st season DVDs now I'm big bulky and green! Seraphim MAD Seraphim SMASH but seriously thanx. And as far as FF4 for the DS I've read that it got bad reviews from NP which makes me a little mad being that I loved it and I think it's not really that it sucked but the fact that it had two remakes already but I'm still hoping to see FF5 make the jump to 3D but I doubt it will if it got bad reviews from others too. :cry

With the completion of Square's own special event a while back as well as the Tokyo Game Show, it is now confirmed that your previous list is correct, Seraphim. Cecil, Bartz, Terra, and Cloud. Intriguingly enough, I saw Nomura's character art of Bartz - he did a decent adaptation of Amano's original design and fixed the hair color.

I await Kefka placing a massive beatdown upon Sephiroth. :p

Well thanx Braniac I noticed no one was using this thread so I kind of gave up on it but of course as someone else pointed out we have a new FFCC coming our way. Square Enix is also supposed to release a demo off FF XIII with it's Advent Children blue ray so basically you think Red XIII is gonna host the demo. :rollin
