Do the Coles know about the iminent release of the remake?
I'm just wondering... because I would contact them if I knew how... but I don't know how to... and I'm assuming they know about it.... but if they don't... they do know about it - don't they?
Excuse the fact that I posted a message in this same vein before - I've repeated myself because no one replied and I considered this an important query.... thanks for your time...
sorry to bother....

No, guys, please don't contact the Coles about the remake. I'm sure they'll find their own time to check it out, play it, and comment on if they want to. No need to put them on the spot.

They know about the existence of the game, but I'm not sure if they've been following its progress actively.

I was just wondering... I didn't really want to step on anyone's toes... just purely curious.

Have the AGDs heard anything from the Coles specifically? I kinda am wondering what they thought of it, though that's very awesome that they posted about it on their site! And says a lot about the AGDs and just how impressive what they've done is...

wow that is very cool that they've posted about this so quickly! I'm very curious to see their comments after playing in the future.

The 'School for Heroes' will probably become very popular.

Wow, I can feel my Honor stat rising.
That's great that they mentioned it on their page. I'm gonna plug their website in the newsletter mailout too.

It might not, considering it's being made by Malinche, the very same fellow who made a mess of the AdventureCon.Gronagor wrote:The 'School for Heroes' will probably become very popular.

Don't presume the Con madness carries over to the company's general work in the IF field, Alliance.Alliance wrote:It might not, considering it's being made by Malinche, the very same fellow who made a mess of the AdventureCon.Gronagor wrote:The 'School for Heroes' will probably become very popular.

I think it's a logical assumption to make Brainiac.

If you have no experience with what the company made its bones in, just the AdventureCon stuff, sure. But considering both the fact that it's survived for a fair while in a very niche field AND the Coles themselves are involved, I'm inclined to say don't assume the worst just because of the Con madness.

Re: Do the Coles know about the iminent release of the remake?
It wasn't just a mess, adventurecon, it was a total joke. The whole thing showed a complete lack of organisational ability which quite honestly makes me think twice about anything they do. To the point where I would seriously think twice about even purchasing their products. I have full trust and respect for the Cole's though, so we can but wait and see.

WOW did you guys see the blog they made about QFG2VGA? it's really cool... Lori talks about how Cori even played it for a while and couldn't defeat a brigand... I died myself the first time, but then I got it down the second fight, I really liked it, I think you should only be able to take one down the first day anyway, before I could plow down 10 brigands in a row on my first day with an imported character... click the link below...

Maybe the good press'll finally get sierra to rerelease the original series, like they did with King's, Space, and Police Quest. Not that I'm OPPOSED to buying them all on eBay. It's just that I don't really have the 200 some dollars it would take to do that right now.
Re: Do the Coles know about the iminent release of the remake?
I just bought Police Quest (1-4) for $8, and Space Quest (1-6) for $10. Both from Half Price Books

I bought Qfg1 off ebay, in excellent condition... then I was robbed and they took Qfg1 but left Half-Life 2 collectors edition, and all my other gamesMeshGearFox wrote:Maybe the good press'll finally get sierra to rerelease the original series, like they did with King's, Space, and Police Quest. (I also bought Qfg2, in fairly good condition, which they were kind enough to leave)
