Is it just me, or do the characters reflecting in the lense look like Timepod code characters from SQIV?

That's awesome!MusicallyInspired wrote:Happy Valentine's Day indeed! I just bought a new guitar today! Will post pics soon.
A group of us just hung out last night and shot zombies, reminisced (sp?) about past relationship and why it's better to be single now then dating THEM again and whined about the creepy guys/girls who like us now.
It was good times all around!
Re: Random rants go here.
We started a game of Risk at 11pm and returned home at 6am

No, I've had that avatar for months. That's my old guitar. My new one is an Ibanez RG Series R420EX with a Floyd Rose tremelo system. It's a beautiful guitar. Will be showing pics soon.1234567890 wrote:what type of guitar is in your avi pic? it looks cool.

Re: Random rants go here.
Finally got a new shelf added to my TV cabinet I'm able to play my PS3 it is awesome. And on SoulCalibur IV I've already created my dream girl on there. Of course this kind of makes me sound like a creepy nerd. But hey a guy can dream can't he!
New projects
What other projects do AGD intend to do in the future?
I was just wondering, as i am a massive fan of the QFG Series and was extremely impressed with the re-make of “QFG II Trial By Fire”
I know Kings Quest II is currently on the agenda,
but do you see yourself doing maybe another one of your own projects like “Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine” a possible Sequal to that title perhaps?

One thing is for sure, AGD Interactive will not start any new projects. (heck, we're not even allowed to anymore) Himalaya, I can't tell for sure yet.

Re: Random rants go here.
That seems a bit unfair. will this "problem" With Himalaya hindge on your progress with the Kings Quest II Re-make?

Does AGDI have a legal obligation to stop doing remakes?Erpy wrote:One thing is for sure, AGD Interactive will not start any new projects. (heck, we're not even allowed to anymore) Himalaya, I can't tell for sure yet.

Re: Random rants go here.
Our agreement states that we have to obtain permission before beginning on a new Sierra remake. When Activision took over, we were informed that they would honor the agreement we had made previously, but they would not be granting permission for future games. This means that AGDI won't be starting on any new projects. Any new projects will be of original IP and will likely be under the Himalaya Studios banner.

Re: Random rants go here.
We do have a design concept for a new Himalaya Studios game. It's not going to be an Al Emmo sequel, but something more along the lines of a fantasy/adventure like King's Quest and Quest for Glory. Finding the necessary funding to get started on the project is proving somewhat difficult, though!

Re: Random rants go here.
Hmmm... I've heard a number of explanations about where a dragon's fire come from, but I'm still not sure.
What is the 'mechanics' behind this? Serious case of heart-burn?

Re: Random rants go here.
In the film The Flight of the Dragons, it's explained that fire is produced by electricity burning the gas in their stomach, which is the same gas that allows them to fly. Peter Dickinson's dragons use fire to burn the stored gas and descend.Gronagor wrote:Hmmm... I've heard a number of explanations about where a dragon's fire come from, but I'm still not sure.

Re: Random rants go here.
Anne McCaffrey's Pern series posits the used of a phosphine-bearing rock and certain acids in a second stomach to generate a combustible gas that immediately ignites in the air (though the "firestone" must later be expelled as it is not digestible).

Weren't there a story of a small dangerous lizard (or was that an insect) in Madagascar that can supposedly blow a small flame?
