Baba Yaga has style and wisdom. (I agree on that with the main character of "the Principles of Evil", another recent adventure)
She's my favorite fairy tale villain because she is so complex. The Baba Yaga in QFG1 has sadly been portrayed as a flat character. The real depth of BY becomes apparent In the Russian Fairytales Vasilissa the Wise and Beautiful Vasilissa.
I haven't played QFG4 yet because of the bugginess of that game. The Demon Wizard has a more profoundly evil goal than Ad Avis. Ad Avis is a pathethic megalomaniac who's too stupid to realize that he will become the first victim of the demon that he has invoked.
So the Demon Wizard gets my vote. BY is much too complex to be classified as purely evil.

I think Katrina was simply paranoid, can you imagine knowing that practically everyone wants to kill vampires, and you are one, and for 12 hours a day you're completely helpless? Try putting yourself in her shoes as you lie in bed at night, quite terrifying isn't it?

Like as already been said, she didn't know as much about Avoozl as she thought she did, and as the Gypsy fortuneteller tells us; Avoozl was worshiped by the power-hungry and those fools who thought they could control him.

None of these characters are inherently evil.

I would argue Bruno comes close. In QFG5, he's just a poisoned dagger for hire, but in QFG1, he's backstabbing practically everyone he does business with, be it the thief guild, the brigands or the hero.

Ferrari is also a close call, judging on his tendency to measure people by their own usefulness to himself and his ends, although less so than Bruno.
