Stuck in a conundrum (spoilers)
So,
I've realized that in order to get into the bandit tree, I need to use a spell to enlarge the hole in the tree.
In order to create the spell, I need to get into the lab.
In order to get into the lab, I need to solve the lever puzzle.
In order to solve the lever puzzle, I need to get into the library to find the clue.
In order to get into the library, I need the knife to open the window latch.
But the bandits robbed me and stole the knife. In order to get it back I need to get into the bandit tree!
So my only option now is to restart?

You don't need a spell to enlarge the hole in the tree. But you still might be stuck.
Re: Stuck in a conundrum (spoilers)
Also, the knife isn't the only way to flip that latch.

You need the knife to open the window latch? What does the window have anything to do with getting into the library? You simply walk right on in.

He is not referring to the wizard's study. Go explore Llewdor and you'll see what he's talking about.

I did. There is no other window, unless its in his imagination. Unless he's talking about the 3 bears house, which again, wait until they leave, then walk right in. Duh!

SPOILER: go to the town and go one screen to the north. This is a new area that we've added to the game. You need something from inside one of the new buildings.

You mean, Medusa's home? Already been there. Guess what? No window! What a shock! I would explore more, IF they made it to where the wizard WAS gone for a longer amount of time. I mean, come on, 15 minutes? Please.
Re: Stuck in a conundrum (spoilers)
Did you actually read what he said? I mean, really read? That sandy place south of Medusa's cave is not a town. You don't need a walkthrough to tell the difference.

Re: Stuck in a conundrum (spoilers)
The decreased time offsets the fact that everyone who has played the original KQ3 will already know the solutions to MOST of the puzzles. So really, 15 minutes is more than enough time per trip to explore the new areas. Llewdor isn't THAT large...
The tension of the original game had to be kept. If the trip time was 25 minutes, people would complete all the puzzles when the wizard had only taken 1 trip.

Erpy, how do you change the facial expressions on your avatar thing? That is so cool! Anyway, no. Didn't see a town, except for the store and the tavern/bar thing. And people say I need counceling? At least I don't see things that are NOT real.

Yeah! That was awesome about the original game and IA's game! The wizard took 1 trip and then came back and you were done with him, if you used your time wisely. Awesome! Unlike what these guys did!

It's not an avatar, it's an image. Different URLs.
Did you try leaving the town screen in all four directions?

The bar/store is the town. I feel like you are trolling. If you don't drop this, you are going to wind up getting banned.

Yeah. I finally found it. Even got what I needed and read it. Still confused though. Oh and if you ban me, then I will just wait for a walkthrough.
