Death scenes sounds like Inspector Gadget music?

Did anybody else realize that when a death scene comes up the sound is like the last seconds of the Inspector Gadget coming on credits.

Actually, the Inspector Gadget reference only takes place if you fall to your death.

I was just about to post the same - good thing I searched first. I laughed out loud, and loudly, too. Good thing no-one else was home at the time :P. I too had to fall off the cliff a few more times on purpose once I realized what that musical snippet consisted of. When I initially played KQ3 as a youngster, I was at an age where I also garnered a great deal of enjoyment from watching Inspector Gadget on TV, so this really brings back the memories!
