Where is the key if you get the gnome's name right?

The first five times I played, I didn't get the gnomes name right and he gave me the key to unlock the cave door. Now I got it right and all I have are these beans!! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":("> Where do I get the key now?

The beans serve the same purpose as the key. Think of the story of Jack and the giant...

you also get more points by receiving the beans, rather than receiving the key.

You have to plant the beans, and it's jack and the Beanstalk, remember! So, I think you have to plant them in the clover feild... or maybe it doesn't matter. His is (in all versions).... NIKSTLITSELPMUR... if U type THAT you'll get it right! It RUMPLESTILTSKIN spelled backwards!! cool eh?

In the AGI version, he has a different name. Instead of reversing the name, it reverses the alphabet (a becomes z, b becomes y, etc.). Tierra's version accepts both names.

I have the name of the gnome from the original version memorized. I guess I just got sick of having to look it up every time I played KQ1 (I used to play it a lot) so I learned it by heart. Infkoghgroghprm! And that's how you spell Rumplestiltskin.
