Stake and Ear Rings

#1 Post by RBlacker » Mon Dec 16, 2002 10:27 am

Hello, finished the game and missing 1 point. Was wondering if there is ever any use for the stake or the ear rings? I didn't use them. Thanks for the info. Will play again !!!

You can use the stake in order to retrieve the letter with the library card and to pry the crystal from your sword. Other than that, it's a red herring.

The earrings and the brooch are interchangable and have the same uses throughout the game. (creating the emerald and donating/giving away)

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashm ...

Thanks for the come back. They were bothering me as I couldn't find a use for them. You mentioned giving them (ear rings) away. Who can you give them to abd do you get ant points or is it the dwarf who takes them ?? Thanks again for the info..

The earring/brooch can also be donated at the collection box in the church. It's an alternate solution to praying so the monk will give you his cross, but you lose points for doing it. At the end of a perfect (185 points) game, you'll still have either the brooch or the earrings left, whichever one you didn't use to make the emerald.

~Wolfgang

Howdy and thanks again for the come back. I found the allusive 185th point. It was one of the Library (5) books you need to read. Seems like the smart thing to do is go to the library when you first start the game. Thanks again for a really great game and all the help. From an old Computer Customer Engineer from 35 years with IBM way back fro 1959.
