You're on the right track. Since they come out at you so fast and there's TWO of them, you won't really stand much of a chance. Maybe you should try using it before the come out...

~Wolfgang

Take a look at the skulls, one has a blue gem in its eye, while one is empty. Try to make them match.

Don't go out the same way you did the last time
You'll break when you fall
Don't make the same mistakes you did all over
You've got to believe in yourself this time

Use an item that was picked up from a tree. If you don't have it, look around for a large tree with a knotted hole in it. (Although it looks too high to reach, maybe Graham has very long arms!)

Don't go out the same way you did the last time
You'll break when you fall
Don't make the same mistakes you did all over
You've got to believe in yourself this time

Do you have anything that could push it in farther? What do you normally use to pound something down?

~Wolfgang

Well, save it and try to walk back in. That should tell you whether or not you can even get back in.

Don't go out the same way you did the last time
You'll break when you fall
Don't make the same mistakes you did all over
You've got to believe in yourself this time

If you've managed to successfully retrieve the nightingale, you won't need to re-enter the cave. In fact, if you try to Hagatha won't be terribly happy with you... <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

~Wolfgang

Read the note carefully and try to find an object that fits the description of the object in the note.

Hint:
The genie was in the shop, so that would be the area that he is familiar with. So look in the shop.

Don't go out the same way you did the last time
You'll break when you fall
Don't make the same mistakes you did all over
You've got to believe in yourself this time

Make like Al__din and ride it! You'll have to distract the snake somehow. Try using different items on Graham to see their effect on him. If it's appropriate, then do it to the snake.

Don't go out the same way you did the last time
You'll break when you fall
Don't make the same mistakes you did all over
You've got to believe in yourself this time

Well, a little remembering from Boy Scouts tells me that striking steel to flint can create a spark. . .

As to the feather, look around the land and help out a lonely feathered friend. You'll need something to help you there, look around the beach where you entered Kolyma. Time for Graham to get wet! You should be able to use your carpet in the screen outside the cave, in front of the big rock.

Don't go out the same way you did the last time
You'll break when you fall
Don't make the same mistakes you did all over
You've got to believe in yourself this time

It's not the lemon. . .Although honestly, I can't remember what actually goes in there, but it's not the lemon. What does the book say again?

Edit: That's right, I remember now.
