The Father...
is a great addition to the storyline of KQ. I loved the originals, but this new stuff really explains aspects of the series.

Any chance of a remake of KQ3 and KQ4? The story could be continued that way.

Re: The Father...
If Tierra ever decides to do a remake of KQ3 or KQ4, they would be more likely to stick to the original storylines of those games. The reason that the plot of KQ2 was so enhanced in KQ2VGA was due to the fact that the original was more or less a treasure hunt with random fairy tales thrown in with very little in the plot department. KQ3 and KQ4 do not have that problem since their plots are actually quite involved (especially when compared to KQ2) and therefore they wouldn't need as much, if any, of a plot "boost".

~Wolfgang

Re: The Father...
I'm speaking unofficially, but the only change I'd see in KQ3 and KQ4 plots are of more continuity with the enhanced KQ2 storyline. KQ3 could be changed (the whole timer aspect was kind of annoying, especially since it took two minutes to walk up and down the path) to have some sort of confrontation with the Father. If Manannan is in the Black Cloak Society, then after Manannan is turned into a cat Gwydion will have to also deal with the Father. Just a thought.

Re: The Father...
Well, there ARE consequences for what Gwydion does to Mannanan, in KQ5, so I think having a confrontation with the father in KQ3 would serve no real purpose, I'd see it as overkill. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">
"Could I be less alive?"

I think it would be cool....................................
I think it would be nice to have cutscene(s) having Mannanan talking to the father via the cyrstal ball(like in KQ2:RTS with Hagatha.).
The Knight

Test 2.............................................
In the second test, if you chose the best option, he does mention about meeting you again. So, sometime after KQ3, he and Graham will meet again, and perhaps for the final time. The question is what will happen to them.
The Knight

*Lightbulb*
I have it now: King's Quest 4.5

After recovering from the heart attack, Genesta contacts Rosella again and tells her that she has learned that Graham's heart attack was caused by the Father, and shows a map of where he can be found. Rosella tells this to the rest of the family, and someone from the family (Graham if he's recovered enough) goes out to defeat him once and for all.

Simple and fair, and then Wookie walks in and the whole plot goes complex....<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/nerd.gif ALT="8o">

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub57.ezboard.com/broyalquestfor ... You know what? I always kinda made the assumption that Genesta had something to do with Graham's heart attack thing, I mean, she just kinda pops up and goes OOH I CAN HELP YOU oh but you can't leave until you help ME.

Yeah? Yeah? You think?

.......okay sorry.
"Could I be less alive?"

Re: *Lightbulb*
Genesta's running out of power because Lolotte stole her talisman thing. She appears in the mirror, which happens to show things relevant to people's thoughts (Valanice in tower, Cassima in castle, Lucreto).

I think....................................
If anyone takes out the Father, it should be Graham
The Knight
