Help on Tower Island

Argh I'm losing my touch at these adventure games...<br><br>OK I'm on Tower Island (which is gorgeous BTW--great job at carrying over that crazy color scheme from the original), but I have no clue what to do... I placed the ring in the door, looked at the lions, and noticed that quartz is everywhere. However I can't find anyway to pick up or break off the quartz, and when i attempt to go to the little island i always drown. <br><br>I've checked the hints on this but they don't seem to offer any more ideas...<br><br>E <p></p><i></i>

You are definitely on the right track by looking at the little island. But, since you can't go there by swimming, maybe there's another way... Go to the southeast extreme of the island and walk around. You can't miss it, you don't even have to do anything other than walk. <p></p><i></i>
