Sounds like you either haven't played through the whole game yet, or you missed out on a few critical plot elements. If either of these is the case, finish the game (again, if necessary) and try to pay close attention to all of the dialogues. If, however, you have done that and still don't quite understand the story...*MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW*<br>.<br>.<br>.<br>.<br>.<br>.<br>.<br><br>Dracula is not in this game. Caldaur is the vampire of the castle. The old lady at the house was/is his wife. Caldaur was bitten by a bat that, after a few days, turned him into a vampire. Caldaur and Grandma (Lavidia) had a son together, who himself had a daughter, that being Possum. Their son was killed by the Brotherhood (who were also the ones who sent the bat after Caldaur) and Grandma was forced to hide out and raise Possum by herself until you meet them again inside the castle.<br><br>~Wolfgang <p></p><i></i>
