In the library, you get books from the librarian. That's all it's for. Returning at different times in the game will give different books. <p></p><i></i>

Also in the library, if you look at the books on the shelves, there's a book on how to deceive others. It's says to talk in a forein language and make unvaluable objects seem valuable. I bet the merchant used that book! <p></p><i></i>
