I don't know why but I've always had a fascination with being shrunk and seeing the world in a much different point of view. I've always thought it would be neat to see giant animals and find items that are a heck of a lot bigger than they should be. And I'm certain that I'm not the only one. Well, I finally thought that a theme park that lets you do something like that would be fun. Here's a general idea of what would happen:
Upon entry to the park, you'd walk into a room (most likely made of theatre screens). On screen, you see that there's a house that you're supposed to approach (Look closely enough and you'll see a mouse hole on the bottom of the house). However, upon approaching, you hear a voice complaining about you trespassing and demanding that you leave. Of course, there's no way to leave so the voice finally shouts that you were warned and next thing you know, the room lights up then darkens. When it goes dark, the floor starts to sink so that you feel like you're shrinking. Finally, when the room lights up again you'll see that the screens now show a new perspective of the house (and everything around it) being huge. Furthermore, a door, made to look like a mouse hole is now visible.
You enter through the hole into a room made to look like a giant living room. Here you'll find tables bigger than houses, a giant doll made to look like a cat quietly lying down taking no notice of you. You'd be able to climb up on the cat and feel the realistic fur of the creature. If you scratch it behind the ears you can hear the thing "purr." Other things to be found would be huge toys and tents made to look like folded up newspapers, you can enter some mouse holes in the room and discover that you're the same size as mice!
You can go to new rooms via mouse holes and see the world in a much different way. Rooms would include a lab where you can see caged animals that are either curious or hungry when they see you (obviously you can't touch these animatronics). A child's bedroom where you can play with giant toys (like be held by a giant doll or crawl into a stuffed kangaroo's pouch).
I even thought it would be neat to have a barn setting. To enter the barn, you'd have to get into a vehicle (you can't see what it is) and ride over to it. The vehicle completely closes but when it's time to get out the doors open four ways outward. Upon leaving, you discover you were riding in a giant egg and a giant chicken is staring down at you! In this place, you'd see chicks as big as you are, giant chickens so large you could ride them, even a huge cow "eating" hay.
Gift shops would be available but made to look like they fit the setting. Say, for the living room, a mouse hole where the workers dress up like mice, or the kids room, a doll house where the workers dress up like dolls.
Of course, there'd have to be rides! I think something like a roller coaster made to look like a hot wheels track or even "giant cat and dog" rides. Slides made to look like giant phone cords and some rides made to look like huge yo-yo's!
In the kitchen area, you could find the sink is actually a swimming pool and the freezer could be an ice skating rink!
...Anyway, this is just a fantasy, but I was wondering if any of you would ever be interested in going someplace like that if it actually existed? And if it did, what other things would you like to see in the park?
