Hero Downloads
I have played qfg2 before back in the day i was wondering if we could get downloads of old hero's on here it would make the game fun to use them. If not where can we download them?
Re: Hero Downloads
If you're talking about downloads of other QFG-games, sorry, we can't help you there. The forum rules here prohibit unauthorized spreading of copyrighted games.

Re: Hero Downloads
Perhaps he's talking about exported characters?
Re: Hero Downloads
yeah i am just talking about like if you had an old character if we could share them. the game says you can import and export

Re: Hero Downloads
I remember a few years ago there were a few fan sites out there with import files you could download but I haven't been able to find them lately... and I can't use the import creator software with Vista so I was stuck starting from scratch. That wasn't such a raw deal though because once I got used to the new system I was about to conquer all my problems by training a bit and it was pretty satisfying

Sometimes you have to implicitly place the [ url ] tags.

Re: Hero Downloads
Err yeah, I just noticed that. So I attached the file to the forum instead.

If you ever need to run any old windows programs that won't run under Vista, there's always Virtual PC.
Vista 64 can't run 16-bit programs or some old DRM schemes. For these cases, it's nice to have a Virtual machine on hand with XP or even windows 98 installed. You just install VirtualPC, ignoring any warnings that it's not for your version of Vista. Then create a machine, and pop in your old windows CD to install windows like you would to a normal computer.

I think the parentheses threw off the automatic tagging mechansim. Anyway, people now have two links to click on the split up bandwidth usage between the sites.MacGyver wrote:Err yeah, I just noticed that. So I attached the file to the forum instead.

Unzip (Extract, whatever you call it) the program QuestforGloryCharacterCreator(Glory).exe to whatever folder you're going to keep your characters in - which would be "Program Files\AGD Interactive" if you're going to use them for this game. Run the .exe and choose what kind of character you want (in this case A, B. or C), and the program will create a character for you in the folder the character creator program is in.
Hope that was clear because sometimes I'm not.
