Why do you want ppl to enter their first name last name and e-mail addresses to download the game?<br>I mean, it's no big privacy deal because you can just type in fake names, but why do you need our names? Even you guys are annonymous! <p></p><i></i>

I betcha anything it's to keep a tally of those who download it. By having a name next to each download, the AGD's know whether it's a repeat download or not. <p></p><i></i>

Well, I didn't make the website, but I think Lazygamer has the right answer.. it's to keep track of the downloads so we can tell how popular future remakes might and if they would be worthwhile.. although the number that gets displayed to us is slighlty innaccurate, as some people have posted the direct download URL on other sites and stuff. It's amazing to me how many people try to jip themselves and not include a name or email address. Basically, we just added the feature so we'd have a database of people that would be interested in Adventure Games, so that we could contact them in the future if we bring out any new free games. We're not selling this list to anyone. We're not going to send you an email virus. None of that. Straight out, we just wanted to be able to be able to notify you if we had anything else to give out in the future.
