Shovel?

Sooo... why do you have a shovel?
I finished the game with 210 points and didn't dig anything... Have I missed something or is it just there as a red herring?

Btw - awesome remake guys, good way to keep it challenging but still fun!

Yep, it's pretty much just a red herring. The Pirates know nothing about how Seran stored the treasure, so they assume you'll have to dig it up in a traditional "X marks the spot" sense.

I'm seriously shattered this is the last remake from you guys, it's been an amazing run. Would have loved to see PQ2 or something...
I guess there's not even really an option for people to raise funds to convince you guys to do it, because whoever owns Sierra or whoever it is would screw you for it these days. Bastards.

if memory serves me in the original you got a shovel somehow and the rats on the ship told you where treasure was buried. I didn't know where the shovel was after I went and got seran's treasure and I didn't hear anything from any rats.
