I just began playing this game. Every single time Manannan wanders off meanderlessly to another plain of existence or decides that he wants to take a nap and comes back, all he wants to do is eat. I don't even know how to cook in real life, let alone how to give him food in the game. I'm at the point now to where I've done quite a few things while he's been away (seeing as though he's gone away about 3 or 4 times now), but now whenever he returns once again, he's hungry, and because I can't go to the kitchen and make him a sammich he decides that my existence must be destroyed.
I'm guessing that at some point, like in the original, that there's something special I can give him to make him stop asking me this asinine question, but in the meantime, until I have those ingredients, could anybody offer me any help? I really don't want to have to restart my game, but I might not have a choice.

And by the by, if it's possible to get an answer to my question without having any spoilers in it I'd greatly appreciate it, but if there's no way around it I'd rather have some kind of answer as opposed to nothing at all.
