While I have agreed to this chat, I must point out a few "rules" regarding it. These are NOT the IN CHAT rules, but rather MY rules for it as I'm the host server of it. I am posting these since following them will hopefully create a better chat environment and keep it running for as long as possible.

1. This chat is on MY host server. I don't want to be kicked off it, as it was VERY inexpensive for as much as I got. My host's TOS can be found somewhere (they change the address of the page now and then) on the site,
www.webmanixhosting.com. If you want to know what THEIR regulations are, I suggest you stop there and take a peek. You don't NEED to read it, but if planning to something "special", it is suggested reading.

2. This chat is on a TRIAL RUN. If it sucks up too much bandwidth too quickly, I may be forced to shut it down, which I do NO want to have to do. I don't think this will push me over, but if it does, I have to pay for more bandwidth. The cost is not bad, but still, I have to pay out of my own pocket. I have nothing set up (like ez baord does) for any sort of contribution, so even if anyone WANTED to donate to help out any extra costs this might incur (which is unlikely, but still), there isn't really and easy way.

If everything works out alright, YES, it WILL stay up on a permanat basis (so long as Broomie owns the site, I know jack about that stuff). HOWEVER, it still hold the right to shut it down at ANY time without warning if I feel it necesary. If I DO shut it down, I WILL give a reason, it just may not be revelaed until after it's shut down.

3. About my bandwith, please do your best NOT to suck the living life out of it. Yes, refreshing DOES suck up bandwidth! Not sure if in a chat consistant use of emoticons sucks it up, but still, I'd recommend NOT using them way more often than need be. They are there to HELP express emotions, NOT to convey them on their own. And ONE is enough. You don't need to put 10 crying ones right in a row, one will do more than enough.

4. What ever Broomie has for rules, FOLLOW THEM! I have not seen them, but I trust his judgement on them. If you have no written rules Broomie, I suggest putting some up, especially one for my rule #6.

5. I am NOT an overseer for this chat. Yes, I will stop by now and then, but even though this is on my server, I am just a reguler Joe while in chat. I know nothing about it. If you have questions/suggestions about the chat, I suggest you contact Broomie. If you contact me about it, your message will be ignored, laughed at, and immediatley deleted, never to see the light of day.

6. ABSOLUTELY NO SPAM!!!!!! My host has a ZERO tolerace spam policy. Since I am the "head" of the chat (figurativly, seeing as I'm the host), this could easily create problems with my hosting plan if it is abused, and subsequently, the end of the chat, possibly permanantly. I could also cost me my hosting plan as well, and that would MAJORLY suck. And if that did happen, I'll make the bastards make it up somehow.

Folowing my regulations could easily save the chat from an unecesarily early shut down. Yes, I WILL be keeping tabs on how this chat affects my server. I have a way of tracking thinks, so don't be smart with me. Karma will come back and bite you hard in the ass if I don't get to it first.

I'm not TRYING to be a bi*ch here, but I have to set the ground rules regarding the chats impact on my server. I want this chat to saty up as long as possible, and I'm sure you all would too. So do everyone else a favor by following theses, k?
-----------------
So when you feel like hope is gone, look inside you and be strong, and you'll finally see the truth, that a Hero lies in you...

-Mariah Carey, Hero
