I blame school on why I missed AGD1's Birthday..
So I'm starting a thread on back to school, since that's what everyone's probably doing right now? I just started college this semester on Monday.
I'm taking Calculus, Java, Acting, and Speech.
If anyone's interested, join in the topic, it's pretty open

I'm going back to school in a week.

Oh well, at least I'm returning to the only thing I love doing at school, drama!

I restarted my internals this monday after having a few weeks off. And those few weeks even hardly felt like a vacation in retrospect.

Erpy,
I know what you mean, Vacations almost always seem like they were too short once they're finally over. For my week off I took a road trip down to San Antonio and stayed there for two days.. went tubing and Spelunking and visited a wildlife reserve, walked the river walk and then observed the bat bridge of Austin. (A bridge where hundreds of thousands of bats live in downtown Austin)
Now here I am back in school, which atleast keeps me busy and thinking.. I'm really looking forward to moving down to Austin next year though.
For back to school I saw this awesome backpack at WholeFoods market.. it's made entirely from recycled materials and it's called an "Earthpak", but it cost $60 and I don't have the money for that..

Start killing myself with classes on August 30th, but hopefully, I won't be too busy until MCAT reviews come around.

I entered my second year of uni not too long ago. This is going to be the "project work" semester. 3 group projects to complete. Oh joy.

I'm taking an Advanced Computer Science Diploma. Starts Monday.
Only thing that really bothers me is that I need to get up about 1½ hour earlier than last year.
Of course, if I can borrow the car, it'll be easier, but...

Hmm.. those of you who've graduated, what degrees did you receive? And did they lead to your current carreers? Or are you still finding that 'perfect' job? What's everybody's major?
I'm majoring in Computer Science..

I think I start on the 1st. Sucks, but my summer ended a long while ago. SAT and SAT II work has kept me just as busy as I was during the school year for the past two weeks. Meh.

Well, I've graduated (or, should I say, about to graduate, with the actual ceremony on the 22nd of September for me) with a Bachelor of Science in Energy Studies with a minor in Scientific Measurement. As for jobs, I'm at the current stage of applying. I'm one of the first graduates for this degree as well, so there's not much going right now in my particular field (due to companies not being well aware of my degree). I think my best bet for now would be to get into a government job and try and pave the way for the others who will be graduating not too far down the track. I'll get there eventually, might just take a bit of time.

I graduated with a degree in psychology, like many on these forums from what I hear. And now it looks like I'll be getting a job working in a group home with victims of child abuse. Wish me luck everyone!

Interestingly enough, when you are all going back to school, it's the opposite in my case. I am about to finally take a vacation for a couple of weeks, after working at the University during the summer. School starts in October in Munich. I still don't know what I will be taking. Probably some ecology and probably mathematics of informatics (programming).
