I was just watching Australian Idol (I know I know, it's crap. But they've got me hooked and it's pissing me off that I like the show...) Anyway, they're doing this Beatles show where they all sing, funny enough, a Beatles song.
I was curious what people's favorite Beatles song is?
I LOVE the Beatles, so I have a different favorite depending on the album I'm listening to. But, my tope three today.
"Something" is really up there. Harrison wrote the most beautiful love song ever with this song. I love how the lyrics say so much without condesending into "I Love You" type words. " Something in the way she moves... You're asking me if my love grows, I don't know... The only other love song that would be close IMHO would be the Beach Boys "God Only Knows."
"Across the Universe" - Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup...
"For No One" - McCartney song, very sad. I don't know why I love it cause it almost depresses me.

oh my god ... "Something" ... makes me cry if i'm in the right mood. it's one of the songs i want to dance to at my wedding.
and "In My Life" ... reminds me of my friend aaron. he was a good guy.

Elanor Rigby and Revolution are the first ones that come to mind for me. Let it be is great too. OOH! and that All you need is love song too. Boy, there's a lot of them.
