Super Bowl Sunday
So, did any other Americans but me on this board watch the Super Bowl or what? Or is it just that there are no more Americans on this board?? I thought it was a really good game this year. Neck and neck to the end. Both teams played exceptionally well, and as always it's good to steal Britain's talent to get them to play at Halftime. Plus, there were good commericals (one for Batman Begins --woo!) and I had a good party. All in all, a successful Super Bowl Sunday. Woo-hoo!!

Yes.. I watched it from beginning to end. Except for halftime... that's when I went to the bathroom and got fresh drinks and food. (Not a fan of the Beatles)
It was a great game though... very surprising. I totally expected a blow-out. My call in our pool at work was New England 34, Philly 13
But it was a good game... Now we just need the Cowboys to go next year. *crosses fingers*

Hah! Good luck with that one. While I do support any Texas team, I'm also a realist. My next door neighbor is really into the Cowboys (she's from Ft. Hood) and believes it's blasphemy to speak anything but good of them, so when the Texans murdered the Cowboys this year I had a laugh at her expense. I felt very nice about that. She didn't talk to me for a week afterwards. Heeheehee, I do love sportsmanship.Keenermart wrote:Now we just need the Cowboys to go next year. *crosses fingers*

I wonder who he supports? I saw it btw and I wanted to change the channell on account of me not supporting or watching the sport at any other time shouldn't entitle me to watch it. But oh well I was playing the DS almost the whole game. and it was obvious from 3rd period what it would look like. I coulda bet the final score from the beggining of 3rd but I was to busy not caring.

Yes, Kurdt, I'm a realist as well, and I know the chances of the Cowboys going to the Super Bowl are very slim. One can always hope though, right?
And who knows... they do have two first round draft picks this year... with the emergence of Julius Jones as a quality halfback, it's hard to tell. A couple of really good, young players in their secondary could make all the difference in the world. Their defense is what really let them down last year... going from 1st in the league the year before to the mid-20's.
Eh well, the eternal optimist, right? lol

See now Quest For Glory Fan is Canadian. Us Canadians know hockey, and that's about it.

I hate hockey I was just seeing if anyone would pick up on it and bring up the fact it was wrong and if you noticed all my posts in this thread had something wrong with them purposefully. I am not imposing my beliefs or being mean or anything just don't take something I mention and define me by it again.
